Cindy is the newest member of the IT team! She has been with us since February of 2020 but has been subbing in the school division since October 2019. Cindy is the Information Technology Administrative Assistant. She helps our CIO Scott as well as the entire department with all the administrative work that needs to be done to keep us operating smoothly. We are glad to have her on the team simplifying our lives! Cindy has been eager to take on all the responsibilities handed to her in her role with us. She works with IT half time and also works at St. Nicholas as an Office Manager part time.

Cindy was born in Prince Albert and grew up in Nipawin, SK. She attended L.P. Miller Comprehensive School in Nipawin (go Bears!). After high school she moved to Toronto where she married her husband. Following that they moved to Vancouver where they had two children, Nathan, 24, and Melissa, 21. They moved back to Saskatchewan later to be closer to family.

In the past Cindy has been employed in both the construction and transportation industries. She began as a National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) and then moved in to Operations Management. She has since retired from the stress of management and loves her current positions with both IT and St. Nicholas.

Over the past many years Cindy has been involved with both hockey and ringette. Both of her children participated and she coached, managed and even played a bit herself! More recently she has taken up crafting and makes wreaths that she sells at craft shows.

In what free time remains Cindy also boards dogs at her home and loves to look after puppies. She also has a dog of her own, Bella, who is a Therapy Dog with St. John Ambulance.
