Cris has worked as a Technical Support Analyst with our department since October of 2012 and has had many different sets of schools during his tenure. You have probably seen him around at one point or another! Cris assists in any way he can and lately has been helping out with some AV requirements schools have. He is currently responsible for supporting several North end schools as well as the CEC staff. (A demanding bunch! 😉).

Cris was born in Calumpit, Bulacan, Phillippines where he attended St. Lucia Elementary. Following that, he attended the undergraduate Computer Science program at La Consolacion College. Before moving to Canada Cris traveled around the world as a sailor on a merchant ship.

Cris and his family moved to Canada in 2005. He then went to SaskPoly and received his certificate as a Computer Network Technician. Cris and his wife Rowena have 3 children: Christian, 26, Carmela, 25, and Mariella, 21, all of whom are graduates of RCSD. They now live in Regina along with their dog, Rocky. Cris became a Canadian citizen in 2010.

In his free time Cris loves to go camping and fishing. He is an active participant of his community and a member of the Holy Trinity Parish. He and his wife are also members of the Couples For Christ Ministry. They also support scholars of ANCOP Canada.
