It only seemed fitting that we save the boss for last! Scott has been with RCSD since 1999 and has worked his way from Computer Technician to Chief Information Officer, which is a position he accepted in September of last year. Scott is responsible for overseeing our entire department as well as liaising with senior administration so IT can execute their technology vision for our schools.

Scott was born and raised in Saskatoon. He attended St. Dominic School in Saskatoon followed by E. D. Feehan Catholic High School. In 1990 he joined the Canadian Armed Forces and served for 4 years. He was stationed in many interesting places all over the world during his time with the military.

Scott now lives in Regina. He moved here in 1999 and at that time he was working to resolve problems that would arise from the notorious Y2K bug. It was shortly after this that he started working for RCSD.

In Scott’s free time he plays rec hockey and also coaches several other kids sports leagues like floor hockey, soccer, hockey, and football. His other hobbies include gaming, movies and going to the gym and he continues to enjoy travelling when he can get away from work! Scott also trained in Muay Thai for about 10 years.

Scott has an 8 year old son named Dax, who attends École St. Elizabeth School, and a dog named Ripley who was featured with our other pets in this post!
