Irene Paul-Bereti has worked for the school division since 2004 in one position or another. She began as a support staff substitute in the school division before accepting a job as an Admin Assistant in September of 2004. From there she moved to a Supervisor Assistant position and finally an Executive Assistant position in 2008. In 2015 she accepted her current position, that of a Data Specialist. As you may know, Irene is one of two Data Specialists. She works alongside Sarah in the IT department servicing software such as SIRS, School Messenger and Students Achieve, among others. Irene and Sarah were welcomed to the IT department earlier this year when a restructure merged the Business Technology department with the IT department.
Irene was born and raised in Regina, she is an alumnus of both St. Theresa and Miller Comprehensive High School. Go Tigers and Marauders! It was only a few years after high school she began working at RCSD at only 21 years old!
Irene is a newlywed! Irene and her husband Royce were married this past summer and following their wedding they went on a fabulous Grecian honeymoon! Irene and Royce have known one another all of their lives, having gone to school together and also having danced together at the Regina Balaton Hungarian Club as kids.
Irene is also an actress with a few IMDb credits to her name! 😉 She devotes much of her time to the Regina Little Theatre and has been acting there for 13 years. She is currently preparing for a role in Till Beth Do Us Part which will be playing at the New Hope Lutheran Church in March of 2020. She also loves to sing as well as play the guitar and ukulele.
